A Fuddruckers Adventure: Hamburger Buffet Anyone?

Make your own hamburger for the low, low price of $20! (ok – I fudged the number a bit…but not too much…well, by half…..sigh… $10…… are you happy now?!)

Ever since Fuddruckers (a causal dinning experience) first opened in the Treasure Valley, I have been biased towards them. Come on – who really wants to turn over an Alexander Hamilton for the opportunity to MAKE THEIR OWN BURGER??!!! I don’t know about you, but I could do that at the house for cheaper!

Sigh

My lovely wife rebuked me for my negative attitude and said that I should at least give them a shot. So I did. [@more@]

I entered their establishment, purchased a burger and navigated myself to a table to wait for my grub. Singing along to the music, I heard my name yelled across the sound system (right in the middle of a good verse). Sighing to myself, I made my way past the maze of tables to acquire my meal – only to discover that it was an open face burger with no sauce or toppings.

Oh – yeah.. I forgot. I was at Fuddruckers. You have to build you own burger here.

At this point I must mention that I really didn’t hear my name or pick up my burger as I was on the phone. But had I NOT been on the phone, I WOULD have heard by name and picked up my burger…Really!!!

One Bar-B-Q stain and a bottle of ketchup latter, I waddled my way out of Fuddruckers with a full belly and a happy mouth (I have to admit, they do flip a good beef patty!!).

My Fuddruckers adventure was completed. And I’m still bias. Why?

Because I bought a $3.00 loaded fry from Carl’s Jr. and they brought it out to my table. No walking required.

Thats why if you want a high priced hamburger one should go to In and Out Burger… cheaper and still good and better fries
